EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

 

IHDC is seeking for a qualified individual to undertake the responsibilities for the overall operations of the Indochinese Housing Development Corporation under the direction of the Board of Directors. 

The Executive Director is required to provide leadership in the development of the community, directing the staff, and working with the Board of Directors. The Executive Director is expected to facilitate a staff that functions as a team and is cooperative with each other, the residents, the Board, and the visitors to the complex. The Executive Director must relate well to people and must exercise good judgment and discretion in dealings with residents, visitors, vendors, and staffs.

IHDC is always on the lookout for Tech Partners to support our technology-driven STEM programming, as well as other local organizations who provide health/wellness, literacy, and cooking and arts programming to youth.  To get involved, or to see if a partnership with  our organization would be a good fit, please email info@ihdcsf.org.



 

 

PROGRAM LEADER

 

IHDC is looking for experienced youth development professionals to support our afterschool and summer programs in partnership with the Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF) and SFUSD. 

Some essential duties include providing direct services to youth ages 5-14 who are participating in IHDC’s Tenderloin Achievement Group (TAG), an afterschool and summer program. The foremost goals for TAG are to develop and support youths’ academic success and social-emotional health and wellbeing in an environment that is safe, supportive, and fun. The foundation of our program is built on a strong and vibrant youth-parent network and community that encourages pride for our cultural identities and empowerment through participation.
